Cheeseburger Egg Rolls

Directions

  1. Begin your tremendous culinary journey by heating a skillet over medium heat. Add the ground beef and finely chopped onion. Cook until the beef is browned and the onion is soft, which should take about 5-7 minutes. Make sure to drain any excess fat after cooking.

  2. Once the beef and onion mixture is ready, remove the skillet from the heat. You’ll add the shredded cheddar cheese next. Stir in the cheese until it melts into the filling, creating that creamy, delicious center that will make your egg rolls truly irresistible.

  3. Lay an egg roll wrapper on a clean, dry surface. Grab a spoonful of your tremendous beef and cheese mixture and place it in the center of the wrapper. Remember to leave room at the edges for folding!

  4. Fold in the sides of the wrapper, then roll it tightly from the bottom up. This will encompass your filling snugly, preventing any leakage during frying. Repeat this step for the remaining wrappers and filling.

  5. Now it’s time to fry! Heat oil in a deep pan or a fryer until it reaches about 350°F. Fry the egg rolls in batches, making sure not to overcrowd the pan. Cook until they are golden brown and incredibly crispy, which should take around 2-4 minutes per batch.

  6. Once fried, remove the egg rolls and place them on paper towels to drain any excess oil. They’re now ready to be served! Pair with your favorite dipping sauce for an added flavor boost.
