The Base

  • 1 prepared pie crust, store-bought

The Filling

  • 6 large eggs
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • 6-12 slices of bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar or Mexican cheese blend
  • 3/4 cup chopped green chile, frozen or canned
  • 1 cup shredded Mexican cheese blend
