Directions
-
Line an 8×8-inch pan with foil or parchment paper, leaving an overhang on the sides for easy removal. This step helps you lift the fudge out after it sets, ensuring that you can cut it into perfect squares.
-
Place the white chocolate chips and butter in a saucepan over low to medium heat. Stir continuously until the mixture is melted and creamy. The key is to keep the heat low to avoid burning the chocolate, resulting in a tremendous creamy base.
-
Remove the metal liner from the vanilla frosting container. Microwave the frosting for about 30 seconds. Stir it well to make sure it’s softened and easy to combine with the other ingredients.
-
Pour the warmed frosting into the melted chocolate and butter mixture. Continue stirring until the mixture is smooth and creamy. The combination of sweet frosting combined with the rich chocolate is simply irresistible.
-
Allow the mixture to cool for 5-10 minutes, stirring occasionally to prevent it from setting too quickly. This step makes it easier to add the candy pieces without them sinking to the bottom.
-
Quickly stir in 3/4 cup of Butterfinger baking bits and 3/4 cup of mini Reese’s Pieces. This step will give your fudge that tremendous crunch and flavor that makes it unique.
