Busy Day Soup

Directions

  1. In a large pot, brown the ground beef over medium heat until fully cooked. Drain excess fat to prevent the soup from becoming too greasy, making it a tremendous midweek meal option.

  2. Add the onion soup mix, mixed frozen vegetables, water, and diced tomatoes to the pot. Stir to combine the ingredients into a cohesive mixture that ensures a tremendous depth of flavor.

  3. Bring the mixture to a boil over high heat. Keep a close eye on it as it heats up, as this step is crucial for developing the wonderful aroma that will soon fill your kitchen.

  4. Once boiling, reduce heat to low and simmer for 10 minutes. This simmering time allows the flavors to meld together beautifully.

  5. Add the uncooked macaroni and simmer for an additional 10-12 minutes, or until the macaroni is cooked and tender. The addition of macaroni elevates the soup, adding a delightful heartiness to each bowl.

  6. Serve hot and enjoy your Busy Day Soup! Each serving is not only nourishing but also incredibly satisfying, making it perfect for a quick dinner or a lunch that warms the soul.
