Ingredients
The Base:
- 4 eggs (separated)
- 120 g sugar
- 100 g flour
- 20 g unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 pinch of salt
The Filling:
- 200 ml heavy cream, very cold
- 50 g powdered sugar
- 1 packet of vanilla sugar (or 1 tsp vanilla extract)
- 200 g canned cherries or amarena cherries (well drained)
For Decoration:
- 50 g dark chocolate, grated or in shavings
- 50 ml cherry juice or kirsch (optional)
- 20 g sugar (optional)
- Extra whipped cream (for decoration)
- Chocolate shavings (for decoration)
- A few whole cherries (for decoration)
