Baileys Irish Cream Brownies

Directions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking dish. This step ensures that your brownies will slide out smoothly when they’re done baking, making it much easier to serve.

  2. Melt the chocolate and butter together in a saucepan over low heat, stirring until smooth. This creates a tremendous base that adds rich flavor to your brownies. Make sure to stir continuously; you don’t want the chocolate to burn.

  3. Remove from heat and mix in the granulated sugar until well combined. The warmth from the melted chocolate will help dissolve the sugar, which is key to achieving that perfect brownie texture.

  4. Beat in the eggs one at a time. This method ensures that each egg is fully incorporated before adding the next, creating a smooth mixture that forms the foundation of your brownies. Then stir in the vanilla extract and Baileys Irish Cream for that tremendous flavor!

  5. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, and salt. Combine these dry ingredients until uniform and then gradually fold it into the chocolate mixture until just combined. Be careful not to overmix; you want to maintain that rich fudgy texture that brownies are known for.

  6. Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish and spread it evenly. A good spread will enable the brownies to cook uniformly, ensuring you have a perfect texture in every bite.

  7. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted comes out with a few moist crumbs. Remember, you want to avoid overbaking as this can lead to dry brownies. The moist crumbs indicate that they’re just right!

  8. Allow to cool before cutting into squares and serving. Though patience can be tough, letting them cool will enhance their fudginess, making your hard work truly worth it.
