Bacon Ranch Potatoes

Directions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). This temperature is ideal for creating crispy exteriors while keeping the insides perfectly tender.

  2. Wash and cut the baby potatoes in half. Ensure they are washed thoroughly to remove any dirt. Cutting them in half allows for even cooking and helps them soak in the tremendous flavor of the seasoning.

  3. In a large bowl, combine the potatoes with olive oil, ranch seasoning, salt, and pepper. Toss the potatoes well so that each piece is evenly coated. This mixture will infuse the potatoes with fantastic flavor.

  4. Spread the potatoes on a baking sheet in a single layer. Make sure the potatoes are not overcrowded; this will help them roast rather than steam, achieving that delightful crispiness.

  5. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until golden and tender. Keep an eye on them, as oven temperatures can vary. The potatoes are done when they are fork-tender and have a beautiful golden hue.

  6. Remove from the oven and toss with crumbled bacon. The tremendous contrast of flavors in this step takes the dish to another level. The salty, smoky bacon mixed with the buttery potatoes creates an irresistible combination.

  7. Garnish with chives or parsley before serving. This adds a pop of color and freshness, making the dish not only delicious but visually appealing as well.
