Directions
-
Preheat your grill or stovetop skillet over medium-high heat. Sizzling sound should greet you as the cooking begins; this is where the tremendous flavor will start to develop.
-
In a mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, salt, and black pepper. Form the mixture into burger patties, ensuring they’re about the same size as the lasagna noodles for seamless layering.
-
Cook the patties on the grill for about 5-6 minutes per side, or until they reach your desired doneness. The delicious aroma that fills the kitchen is a tremendous reminder of why we love cooking.
-
Cook the bacon in a separate pan until it’s crispy, then set aside. Allowing it to cool will help it achieve that perfect crunch.
-
Boil lasagna noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside, taking care not to overcook them as they’ll soften further in the oven.
-
In a baking dish, layer the cooked noodles, ricotta cheese, cooked burger patties, marinara sauce, mozzarella cheese, and Parmesan cheese. Repeat the layers until all ingredients are used, finishing with mozzarella on top for that dreamy melted finish.
-
Bake the layered dish at 375°F (190°C) for about 25-30 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden. The anticipation of smelling this dish bake will have everyone asking if dinner is ready yet.
-
Assemble the bacon lasagna burger stack by placing a slice of the wonderful lasagna on a burger patty, topped with crispy bacon. Serve hot and watch the faces light up with joy.
