Bacon Cheeseburger Stuffed Tater Tot Cones

Directions

  1. Preheat the oven as per the tater tot package instructions, usually around 425°F (220°C).

  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the cooked ground beef, crumbled bacon, and chopped onion. This mixture serves as the tremendous heart of your cones.

  3. Add the shredded cheddar and mozzarella cheeses to the mixing bowl. Stir well until everything is evenly coated with cheesy goodness.

  4. Take your cone-shaped molds or create DIY cones using aluminum foil. Fill each cone generously with the mixture you’ve prepared.

  5. Wrap each cone tightly with a layer of tater tots, securing them with toothpicks if necessary. Make sure to leave some filling poking out to highlight that tremendous cheeseburger inspired goodness.

  6. Place the filled cones on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake in the oven until the tater tots are golden brown and crispy—around 20-25 minutes.

  7. Serve your tater tot cones hot, offering a plethora of sauces like ketchup, mayonnaise, and mustard on the side for dipping.
