Bacon Cheeseburger Rice Skillet

Directions

  1. In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the chopped bacon until crispy. The bacon’s incredible flavor will infuse the dish with a tremendous taste. Remove the bacon and set aside, leaving the drippings in the skillet.

  2. Next, add the ground beef to the skillet. Break it apart with a spatula while it cooks, ensuring even browning and a tremendous depth of flavor.

  3. Once the beef is browned, stir in the chopped onion. Cook until the onion becomes translucent and softened, about 3-4 minutes.

  4. Now, it’s time to bring it all together. Add the cooked rice, beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, and season with salt and pepper. Mix everything well, allowing the flavors to meld beautifully.

  5. Sprinkle the crispy bacon and shredded cheddar cheese on top of the mixture, creating an inviting layer of toppings. Cover the skillet and cook until the cheese is melted and bubbly, about 3-5 minutes.

  6. Serve warm, topped with your choice of pickles, mustard, or ketchup for that extra kick!
