Bacon Cheeseburger Pan Lasagna

Directions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). This step is essential as you want your lasagna to cook evenly from the start.

  2. In a large skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned. Make sure to break up the beef into small pieces as it cooks. Drain excess fat to avoid a greasy dish.

  3. Add the diced onion and chopped garlic to the beef. Cook until the onion becomes translucent, which usually takes about 5-7 minutes. The tremendous aroma in your kitchen will be a delightful preview of what’s to come!

  4. Stir in the cooked bacon and cheddar cheese soup until well combined. The creaminess of the soup adds a tremendous richness to the filling that will keep your guests coming back for seconds.

  5. In a greased baking pan, layer the beef mixture. Start with a portion of the beef mixture at the bottom, followed by layers of lasagna noodles. This will help maintain structure and moisture.

  6. Repeat the layering process. Continue adding layers of the beef mixture and lasagna noodles until all ingredients are used. If you wish, finish with a layer of shredded cheese on top for a cheesy crust.

  7. Cover with foil and bake for 30 minutes. This will allow the flavors to meld together perfectly.

  8. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes. During this time, the top will turn golden and bubbly, creating an inviting crust.

  9. Let it cool for a few minutes before serving. This allows the layers to set properly, making it easier to cut and serve.
