Apple Fritters Bread

Directions

  1. In a large bowl, combine the flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon. The mixture should look homogenous and dry. This dry base will be the foundation for our tremendous apple-flecked bread.

  2. In another bowl, whisk together the milk, eggs, and vanilla extract. Mixing these wet ingredients thoroughly will ensure a smooth and even batter.

  3. Gradually add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients, mixing until just combined. Be careful not to overmix, as this can make the bread dense instead of fluffy.

  4. Fold in the diced apples. The apples will add moisture and a brilliant burst of flavor to each slice. Make sure they are evenly dispersed throughout the mixture.

  5. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a loaf pan generously with butter or cooking spray. This step is crucial to prevent sticking and to achieve a beautiful golden crust.
