Air Fryer Cheesy Chicken Pockets

Directions

  1. Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C). This step ensures that your cheesy chicken pockets will cook evenly and achieve that perfect golden color.

  2. In a bowl, combine the cooked chicken, shredded cheese, and cream cheese. Stir until all ingredients are well mixed. Season the mix with salt, pepper, and garlic powder to amplify its flavor. The cream cheese adds a tremendous creaminess that enhances the overall taste.

  3. Roll out the crescent roll dough and cut it into triangles. Each triangle should be large enough to hold a spoonful of the cheesy chicken filling without bursting at the seams.

  4. Place a spoonful of the chicken mixture on the wide end of each triangle. Be careful not to overfill to avoid any mess. The filling should be just right—generous but manageable.

  5. Roll the dough around the filling, starting from the wide end to the tip. This rolling technique is key to locking in the tremendous flavors and ensuring that none of the savory filling escapes during cooking.

  6. Place the filled pockets in the air fryer basket, ensuring they are not overcrowded. Give them space to expand; overcrowding could lead to uneven cooking and soggy pockets.

  7. Cook for 8-10 minutes or until golden brown. Keep an eye on them during the last few minutes. When you notice a beautiful golden hue, you know they are ready. The aroma wafting from the air fryer will be tremendous!

  8. Serve warm. Enjoy these cheesy chicken pockets on their own or with your favorite dipping sauce for a complete snack experience.
